About Marshall Fairbanks

Marshall Fairbanks is a Clinical Support Specialist at Emerge who is passionate about helping individuals begin and sustain their recovery journeys. Having experienced recovery from addiction and alcoholism firsthand, Marshall understands the challenges that come with seeking help and the life-changing impact of compassionate support. His lived experience allows him to connect with clients from a place of empathy, authenticity, and hope while encouraging them to build a healthier future.

Before joining Emerge on July 20, 2026, Marshall developed meaningful relationships with clinicians throughout his own recovery. Those connections ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in behavioral healthcare, where he discovered a deep sense of purpose through serving others. Today, he is committed to helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered as they navigate recovery and mental health challenges.

Outside of work, Marshall enjoys staying active through weightlifting and has been skateboarding since childhood, having grown up with a half-pipe in his backyard. He also enjoys immersing himself in role-playing video games with friends and expressing his creativity through writing. Whether connecting with others through shared experiences or exploring new creative outlets, Marshall values personal growth, community, and lifelong learning. His favorite movie is Tommy Boy, a classic he never gets tired of watching.
