Emerge Healing Center accepts referrals from detox centers, residential programs, therapists, case managers, and employee assistance programs. We’re an outpatient program in Alpharetta, GA. Clients sleep at home, so we work as a step-down option after detox or residential care. We are accredited by The Joint Commission, most recently in June 2024. Co-founders Rush Jolly and Joe Difabio also work as admissions coordinators, so you may hear from them directly. When you refer a client, our admissions team calls you to talk through the referral.
We take referrals into four levels of care. Those are partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), evening IOP, and outpatient (OP) care. Each client starts with a full assessment of substance use, mental health, and personal history. Our team places the client at the level that fits and builds a plan around the results. The plan changes as the client does, and clients can move up or down between levels.

Emerge treats substance use and mental health at two Alpharetta locations. One care team treats both under a single plan. Substance use treatment takes place at 6110 McFarland Station Dr, Suite 1104, Alpharetta, GA 30004. Our team treats addiction to alcohol, opioids, stimulants, prescription medications, and kratom. Therapy goes after the trauma and habits underneath a client’s use. Relapse prevention and a family program sit alongside it.
Mental health treatment takes place at 1740 Grassland Pkwy, Suite 106, Alpharetta, GA 30004. Our therapists treat anxiety, depression, trauma, and related conditions. Care includes individual and group therapy, with DBT skills work. Each therapist starts by asking what happened to the client. For trauma, therapists may use Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Rapid Resolution Therapy, or EMDR.
We work with Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, UMR, Anthem, Magellan, and Carelon. We accept PPO, POS, EPO, and HMO plans. Coverage depends on the plan. Our admissions team verifies benefits for free, so send plan questions to us when you refer a client. Medicaid and Medicare aren’t accepted. If a client’s only coverage is one of those, we can’t take it as payment.
