About Elizabeth
I graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. After graduation, I attended Mercer University to pursue a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. I graduated in 2025.
I am currently a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and am on my way to becoming an Associate Professional Counselor (APC).
I started at Emerge Healing Center as a clinical intern at the start of 2025 and now serve as a primary therapist.
In my previous career, I worked with military families and children. I witnessed firsthand the impact of stress on mental health in both adults and children. I was also able to see the importance of using social-emotional and coping skills to manage the difficulties of life, and that fueled my desire to pursue counseling.
Outside of Emerge, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, hiking, traveling, and cooking.
