Alec Rigdon, APC

Alec Rigdon, APC

Alexandra “Alec” Addleton Rigdon, APC, MS, CET I, is a well-traveled visual artist, local entrepreneur, and experiential counselor-in-training. She achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture with Summa Cum Laude distinction from Georgia State University in 2010. Alec maintains the recovery-, service-, and growth-oriented lifestyle she began in January 2011 and thrives working with others. After managing an office in which three small businesses operated, (one of which she became a minority owner in and another in which she maintains a minor role,) Alec began a commission-based art company that she continues to operate part-time.

Alec began working at Emerge shortly after it opened in 2022 while pursuing her graduate degree and took a break to become a mother. The Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling she achieved in February of 2025 from Grand Canyon University focused on how experiential modalities support trauma healing. She initiated the lengthy process of certification by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy while in her graduate program and continues to pursue this rigorous credential.

Alec finds joy in empowering others by maintaining reverence for their autonomy, adaptability, and resilience. Insatiably curious and passionate, she fosters beauty and creative spontaneity wherever possible. She offers those around her authenticity, often inspiring them to courageously express and explore themselves in the safety of attuned connection.
