Levels of Care
Emerge Healing Center in Alpharetta, Georgia provides several different levels of care. Our treatment modalities are flexible and are backed by evidence-based approaches. Our Alpharetta treatment programs help create individualized programming designed to help each client gain insight into their addiction issues, mental health disorders, trauma, or co-occurring issues.
An outpatient program is the least comprehensive level of care and allows individuals to maintain a job and or school while still attending a minimum number of hours of treatment per week.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
An Intensive Outpatient Program, also known as IOP, is a level of care where individuals can continue living at home while still receiving treatment services by commuting to a clinical setting multiple times a week.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Partial Hospitalization Programs, often abbreviated PHP, allow individuals to receive treatment in a clinical setting during the day and return to either a sober living environment or their home setting.

At Emerge Healing Center, we provide a combination of evidence-based therapies as well as holistic therapies. We have found that when these approaches are combined, our clients have a much better chance of successful recovery. Holistic therapy is typically most effective when used as a supplement to their treatment plan.
Evidence-based therapies for alcohol and drug addiction, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders are interventions that have been scientifically tested and empirically supported by rigorous research and clinical trials. Providing evidence-based approaches ensures that therapy is grounded in proven methodologies, which increases the likelihood of positive outcomes.
Evidence-based practices also encourage continuous monitoring and evaluation of the treatment’s effectiveness. At Emerge, we can adjust strategies based on patient response, which is instrumental in achieving the best possible outcomes. Employing scientific methods to address addiction and mental health challenges can help reduce the stigma associated with these conditions. Evidence-based treatments underscore the medical nature of these issues.
At Emerge, the utilization of evidence-based treatments for alcohol and drug addiction, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders is integral to our modern clinical practices. It ensures that the care provided to our clients is the most effective, efficient, and highest quality available. This has led to better outcomes for our clients and benefits their treatment and overall well-being.
Holistic therapies provide a comprehensive approach to treating alcohol addiction, drug addiction, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders by focusing on the individual’s overall well-being, rather than just the symptoms of the disorder. Emerge’s holistic treatments, such as meditation, yoga, acupuncture, and art therapy, emphasize the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, aiming to restore balance and promote healing on all levels.
These therapies can enhance self-awareness and mindfulness, leading to improved emotional regulation and reduced stress. Moreover, holistic therapies can act as complementary practices that support traditional treatments, such as medication and psychotherapy.
The use of holistic therapies at Emerge also addresses lifestyle factors that contribute to recovery, such as exercise, nutrition, and sleep, which are essential for physical health and emotional resilience. By fostering a deeper sense of connection to oneself and one’s environment, holistic therapies can aid in establishing a solid foundation for long-term recovery and overall well-being.
