Colin Freeland is one of our Primary Therapists here at Emerge Healing Center. He joined our team in September of 2023 and immediately began helping our clients change their lives. Colin takes a person-centered and humanistic-existential approach to therapy which draws on techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).
Education
Colin received his bachelor’s degree from Life University before pursuing a master’s at Mercer University. After pursuing his degrees, Colin has continued to grow in effectiveness by continuing his education. Over the years he has received training and certifications in several areas. While not working in recovery, Colin enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with family, and playing with/training his dog.
